The SINGER® MOMENTO™ Rotary Blade is a powerful tool that can quickly and smoothly cut through a variety fabrics, fine materials, and delicate paper. Below are step-by-step instructions for replacing the blade in the rotary blade housing. For instructions on installing or removing the rotary blade housing from your machine, visit this page. 

Pro Tip: Be sure to keep track of all loose parts when disassembling. 

Tools Needed:

• Rotary blade housing
• Replacement rotary blade*
• Rotary blade housing cover (included with your rotary blade housing)
• Small flat head screwdriver (included with your replacement rotary blades)

Steps:

1. Place cover over rotary blade housing where the screw lines up with the opening.
2. Use the flat head screwdriver, included with the replacement blade, to loosen the screw, turning left to loosen.
3. When the screw is completely released, remove.
4. With the screw removed, pull the cover off of the housing. The old rotary blade will remain in the cover.
5. Take the new blade (and cover) and insert the housing into the cover
6. Re-insert the screw and tighten.
7. Once tightened, you can remove the cover.
8. Replacing the blade is complete and you can now continue to use your rotary blade for all your fabric project needs!
